Introduction
As designers, researchers, and content developers, you will ensure that customer and end user needs are met through user-centered practices. Working as a Technical Content Professional Intern 2026 at IBM, you will apply a user-centered perspective and advocate for the customer in all interactions.
Your Role And Responsibilities
You will focus on meeting individual and team objectives, learning your craft, and contributing to research, design, or content support of a product. Your work will generally be concentrated around a single product with guidance from a senior team member. You will also contribute to the design community by supporting community activities, sharing, and learning.
- Support IBM Z Design, User Research, or Technical Content operations.
- Learn IBM Design practices and the impact of content.
- Work on enterprise technology and user-focused projects.
- Engage with customers and team members for feedback.
- Participate in community activities within a larger content ecosystem.

Bachelor's Degree
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Actively enrolled in college or university.
- Creativity and flexibility to adapt to new scenarios.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Experience with enterprise IT and business-to-business technology.
- Familiarity with IBM Z product stack and Enterprise Design Thinking.
- Knowledge in UX design and ability to perform UX research.
- Experience in developing, editing, and producing technical documentation with XML, DITA, and GitHub.
- Understanding of Native AI solutions for structured content creation.
- Pursuing a degree in Technical Communications, UX Design, or related fields.
