Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Solution Architect at IBM, you will design, develop, and deploy hybrid, multi-cloud, and cloud native architectures for payments transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for infrastructure, systems, communications, and data center strategies and designs. You will create high-level and low-level design deliverables, ensuring performance, availability and scalability, while also supporting sales opportunities and mentoring teams.
- Lead design and deployment of hybrid cloud solutions
- Develop HA/DR strategies and cost effective architectures
- Utilize reference architectures and best practices
- Collaborate on consulting engagements and automation strategies
- Engage in client discussions and opportunity qualification
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
You must have 10+ years of experience in complex IT projects, expertise in payments systems and financial services, and 3+ years as a solution architect for hybrid cloud solutions. A cloud solution architect certification in a major cloud platform is essential. Experience with cloud native solutions, microservices, containers (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift), REST API design, and Agile/DevOps practices is required.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
Familiarity with the Red Hat ecosystem, infrastructure as code, datacenter migration to cloud, IT Operations and SRE practices, and Java Spring Boot is preferred.
