Your Role as a Quantum Network / Security Engineer Intern

As a Quantum Network / Security Engineer Intern, you will be instrumental in advancing quantum computing systems and their underlying datacenter networking infrastructure. This involves:

• Learning cutting-edge quantum engineering techniques and integrating them into processes for developing next-generation quantum computers.
• Actively participating in corporate events, executive speaker series, and demonstrating strong time management skills.
• Assisting with network setup, rigorous testing, and verification procedures.
• Gaining familiarity with network monitoring software.
• Collecting and analyzing monitoring data from various hardware components to identify and derive meaningful trends.

Preferred Education

Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong background in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in Linux environments.
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible and Python.
• Understanding of API concepts.
• Genuine interest and desire to work within the field of computer networking and security.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• General knowledge of networking and security principles.
• Familiarity with DevOps and GitHub processes.
• Understanding of SNMP protocols.
