Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Product Designer II - Vault Cloud, you will collaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers on high-priority roadmap initiatives. Vault, IBM HashiCorp’s multi-cloud security platform, is used by leading finance, healthcare, and technology enterprises for Secrets Lifecycle Management, Encryption, and Access/Identity Management.

You will design and build workflows that secure applications and protect sensitive data, always keeping the user at the center and ensuring that beauty works better.

What You’ll Do

  • Research, define, and deliver high-quality designs.
  • Create seamless experiences through user flows, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Apply IBM HashiCorp’s Helios Design System to elevate design quality.

Your Roadmap to Success

First 30-Days: Learn IBM HashiCorp Design, get familiar with Vault, review designs, and establish relationships with cross-functional teams through small starter projects.

First 90-Days: Understand Vault within the broader secure product portfolio, run user studies, and deliver designs for small to medium projects.

First 180-Days: Research and design medium-scoped projects, build prototypes, and participate in design thinking workshops.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience designing for complex technical and enterprise IT/security products.
  • Comfortable working in a distributed remote team.
  • A passion for problem solving and delivering impactful work.

Preferred Experience

Familiarity with IBM HashiCorp products like Terraform, Packer, Vagrant, Waypoint, Nomad, Vault, Boundary, and Consul is a plus.

Work Arrangement

This job can be performed from anywhere in the US.
