Introduction

You will join IBM Security Services, a division of IBM Consulting, responsible for delivering security services to large European customers and supporting major digital transformation projects in the application and cloud domains. This position is based in the IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), offering local expertise and cutting-edge technical skills to drive innovation and technology adoption.

Your Role And Responsibilities

In the role of Microsoft Defender Engineer, you will:

• Maintain a healthy Centralize Console for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint products
• Add, remove, or change standard/custom policies for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Servers, Office 365, Cloud Apps, and Identity services
• Monitor health and provide 2nd and 3rd level support for Microsoft Defender for Identity and related services
• Oversee Cloud Security Posture Scanning, Analysis, and Remediation
• Produce KPI reporting for Microsoft Defender XDR products and ensure compliance with SLA/KPI

Preferred Education & Experience

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s Degree along with at least 2 years of SOC Analyst experience and 3+ years in general cybersecurity. Certifications such as CompTIA CySA+, IBM Certified Administrator - Security QRadar SIEM, and Certified Microsoft Security Operations Analyst are preferred.
