Your Role And Responsibilities
- Identify feasible quantum algorithms and application areas for near-term devices.
- Benchmark classical algorithms to compare with quantum solutions.
- Evaluate resource requirements based on problem parameters and circuit synthesis.
- Implement and test near-term algorithms on quantum processors.
- Develop new capabilities for advantage-scale experiments and compiler optimizations.
Preferred Education
Master's Degree
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Experience with quantum algorithm design, quantum compilers, or computer architecture.
- Familiarity with programming languages for scientific computing (Python or equivalent).
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Experience with programming languages for high-performance computing (Rust, C++ or equivalent).
- Involvement in large-scale software engineering projects.
- Knowledge of experimental techniques (error mitigation, suppression, or quantum control).
- Familiarity with Qiskit or other quantum computing frameworks such as Cirq.
