Your Role And Responsibilities
In the role of Intern 2026 IBM Research AI Systems, you will work on efficient and robust reasoning using multi-modal data. This data spans at least two modalities such as text, image, audio, or video. You will develop AI systems along with software co-design methods to enhance both inference performance and quality.
- Handle multi-modal data including text, image, audio, and video.
- Develop efficient AI systems and robust cognitive models.
- Work with AI classification, fine tuning, and security.
- Collaborate with teams using Transformer models and LLMs.
- Utilize tools like PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace, and more.
Preferred Education & Technical Expertise
Preferred Education: Master's Degree.
Required Expertise: Experience with Transformers, SciPy, Scikit-learn, LangChain, LLMs, PyTorch, Github, Numpy, TensorFlow, HuggingFace, as well as programming languages like C, Java, Python, Matlab. Familiarity with AI classification, AI for images, fine tuning, and AI security is required.
