Your Role And Responsibilities
As an Infrastructure Specialist System Administration at IBM, you will participate in various aspects of the software development lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, and support. You will create software infrastructures that keep solutions running and enable clients' hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.
Primary Responsibilities
- Envision, design, and build robust software infrastructure.
- Challenge ideas, identify issues, and implement efficient solutions.
- Develop flexible, maintainable, and scalable application components.
- Collaborate with peers and stay current with technology trends.
- Manage and monitor system resources and databases in Linux environments.
- Develop and maintain shell scripts for automating tasks.
Preferred Education
Master's Degree.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
Minimum 4 years of experience. The role requires strong Linux Shell Scripting, SQL Database Querying, and hands-on exposure to OSS/BSS systems in telecommunications. Familiarity with Cramer tools, defect triage and incident management is essential. Experience with COTS products is highly desirable.
