Your Role And Responsibilities
As an Infrastructure Specialist - System Administration at IBM, you will support critical infrastructure across sectors such as transportation, energy, insurance, banking, and healthcare. You will:
- Define, analyse, and review technical architecture with recommendations.
- Detail and scope technical requirements into innovative solutions.
- Manage configuration, system management tools, and backup/recovery.
- Support Technical Consultants and provide technical mentoring.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- SSL Administration including certificate renewal and monitoring.
- Queue manager configuration, load balancing, security management (OAM), performance tuning.
- Experience with MQ in AIX, Red Hat Linux (RHEL) and Windows servers.
- Managed File Transfers (MFT) expertise.
- Configuration, deployments, and vulnerability remediation in multi-tier environments.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Cloud experience with GCP and AWS.
- Knowledge in CI/CD and pipeline automation tools.
- Familiarity with Containerisation, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
