Your Role and Responsibilities
As a zArchitect, you serve as a trusted technical and strategic advisor to US Central clients with diverse perspectives on IBM Z—ranging from long‑term platform commitment to active modernization or exit evaluation. You combine deep zStack expertise with consultative engagement to shape platform decisions, architect outcomes‑based solutions, and deliver sustained business value through a Business Partner–led route to market.
- Act as an architectural and strategic advisor, guiding clients through IBM Z decisions with clarity, perspective, and confidence.
- Shape end‑to‑end IBM Z solutions by leveraging the zStack across software and hardware, ensuring alignment to client business priorities and enterprise architectures.
- Engage collaboratively with clients and Business Partners to translate business intent into tailored solution approaches that address both current needs and future direction.
- Provide architectural leadership across the solution lifecycle, maintaining integrity and alignment from design through delivery.
- Apply deep zStack insight to identify opportunities for innovation, modernization, and optimization that maximize platform value in diverse client environments.
