Your Role And Responsibilities
As an IBM Ventures Investor, you will work directly with entrepreneurs to accelerate the growth of category‑defining companies by providing capital, strategic guidance, and access to IBM’s global platform. You will contribute to the entire investment lifecycle, including thesis development, sourcing, due diligence, execution, and portfolio support.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional IBM leaders for strategic alignment.
- Lead market, financial, product, and technical due diligence.
- Analyze technology trends and competitive landscapes.
- Build and manage relationships with founders and venture funds.
- Prepare investment memoranda and internal presentations for senior leadership.
- Support ongoing portfolio management and board‑level preparations.
