Your Role and Responsibilities
The IBM Z team supports IBM clients and internal teams across the Americas. We work hands-on with cutting-edge IBM Z and LinuxONE technology, providing enablement, guidance, and technical demonstrations to help organizations realize the full potential of IBM Z. As an intern, you will gain exposure to enterprise-class systems, modern automation, and hybrid cloud environments.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Basic understanding of operating systems, networking concepts, or databases.
- Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn enterprise technology.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Familiarity with Linux command line.
- Exposure to container platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Interest in enterprise infrastructure, mainframe computing, or cloud environments.
