Entry Level Designer

Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Entry Level Designer at IBM, you will join a global design organization to create intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging experiences for storage products. You will work with designers, researchers, developers, and product managers to turn user insights into thoughtful interfaces that empower users.

• Transform research insights into wireframes, workflows, and prototypes.
• Create high-fidelity mockups, visual assets, icons, and design patterns.
• Contribute to the evolution of design systems, ensuring consistency.
• Design detailed end-to-end scenarios for complex business processes.
• Participate in design critiques and iterate based on feedback.
• Facilitate Design Thinking workshops, both virtual and in-person.

Preferred Education and Experience

A Bachelor's Degree is required. Familiarity with human-centered design, user research methods, and emotional design is essential. Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Mural, and Adobe Creative Cloud is highly valued. A portfolio showcasing UI/UX and visual design work is required.
