Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer - Google Data Platforms at IBM, you will design, build, and maintain data engineering solutions on Google Cloud. Your responsibilities include:
- Design batch and real-time data pipelines using Google services.
- Develop solutions leveraging Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, DataProc, and DataFlow.
- Manage data platforms using tools like Cloud Scheduler and Cloud Composer.
- Implement data migration solutions ensuring seamless data transfers.
- Optimize the data layer using BigQuery, Big Table, and Cloud Spanner.

Master's Degree
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Expertise in Google Cloud Ecosystem and related services.
- Proven experience in batch and real-time data pipeline development.
- Proficiency with open-source technologies like Apache Airflow and Spark.
- Experience in managing data platforms and scheduling tasks using Cloud Composer.
- Ability to design efficient data layers for optimal storage and retrieval.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Experience with data migration solutions using Google services.
- Familiarity with Cloud Composer and scheduling tools for data operations.
- Proficiency in using open-source tools such as Apache Airflow, dbt, Spark/Python, or Spark/Scala.
