Role Overview

As a Data Engineer Data Build Tool, you will develop, maintain, evaluate, and test big data solutions. You will construct data pipelines and workflows from Source to Target and implement solutions to meet client needs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Data Model Design and ETL Optimization: Design, build, optimize, and support data models and ETL processes.
  • Data Infrastructure Management: Build, deploy, and manage robust data infrastructure.
  • Data Accessibility and Security: Coordinate data access and safeguard data for data scientists and analysts.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

  • Experience in ETL, Snowflake, and/or DBT.
  • Proficient in SQL, Unix scripting and/or Shell scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with databases like DB2 and Netezza.
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools like Control-M.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

  • Technical development background.
  • Strong client interaction and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work on a client-dictated schedule (day, mid, and night).
