Your Role And Responsibilities

IBM Cloud platform provides a one-stop shop for cloud solutions, including IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS delivered through public, private, and hybrid models. As a Cloud Developer Intern, you will:

• Implement and automate infrastructure solutions supporting IBM Cloud products.
• Build and set up test automation and pipeline frameworks in OpenShift and/or Kubernetes environments.
• Administer automated CI/CD systems and development tools.
• Support compliance and security integrity of the environment.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop monitoring for mission-critical services.
• Enhance capabilities for compute infrastructure services.
• Provide technical escalation support for Infrastructure Operations teams.

Preferred Education and Experience

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related majors. Prior internship or project experience in development, computer hardware, or testing is required.

Technical Skills

Experience or working knowledge in areas such as:

• Operating Systems like Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS Linux, and Windows Servers.
• Virtualization technologies including Citrix Hypervisor, VMware vSphere, Ubuntu KVM.
• Programming tools such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ruby, and Go.
• Infrastructure tools like Active Directory, Ansible, and Chef.
• Container technologies including Kubernetes and Docker.
• Monitoring technologies like Zabbix and Splunk.
• Tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub.
