A career in IBM Consulting is rooted in long-term relationships and close collaboration with clients globally. In this role as an Associate System Engineer, you will work with visionaries across industries to advance hybrid cloud and AI solutions using IBM's extensive technology portfolio.

Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Software Developer, you will engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle including design, coding, testing, and support. You will build applications that power clients' hybrid cloud and AI journeys while ensuring high performance, availability, responsiveness, and maintainability.

  • Analytical Problem-Solving: Analyze existing failures and propose improvements.
  • Full Lifecycle Engagement: Involve in design, development, testing, release changes and troubleshooting.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to drive discussions on innovative coding solutions.

Preferred Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with minimum 6 CGPA/60%. Candidates must complete their degree before employment, targeting a pass out year of 2026.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

  • Programming in Java, C++, Python, Node.js.
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle Concepts.
  • No active backlogs.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

Candidates should have an engineering background, strong problem solving skills, and good interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work from anywhere in India is required.
