Job Description
Introduction
IBM is seeking an Application Developer Intern to join our IBM CIC Baltic team in Vilnius. As an intern, you will work in the Hybrid Cloud Transformation department where you will design, code, test, and implement industry-leading software solutions that power critical operations across various industries.
Your Role And Responsibilities
You will be involved in:
- Developing, implementing, and testing software solutions under guidance.
- Collaborating with software engineers, project managers, and QA professionals.
- Debugging code and resolving software defects.
- Engaging in continuous learning and applying new technologies.
Preferred Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree required with web development experience using backend technologies such as JAVA frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, Quarkus), version control systems like Git, and SQL/NoSQL databases. Familiarity with Agile methodology is expected. Additional experience with JavaScript front-end frameworks (React or Angular) and cloud technologies is a plus.
