Your Role And Responsibilities
As a summer intern, you will contribute to the design and development of large-scale AI models and algorithms for biomedical research. You will help build and evaluate research prototypes that advance AI methods for scientific applications in physics, chemistry, and biological sciences. You will collaborate with biomedical researchers in healthcare and pharmaceutical industries to develop AI agentic workflows and foundation models tailored to their needs.

Master's Degree
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Strong foundation in mathematics, physics, and chemistry
- Experience with algorithm development and scientific computing
- Expertise in AI/ML model design and training
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch)
- Collaborative mindset and agile coding principles
- Drive for innovative and publishable research
- Current enrollment in a Ph.D. program with relevant research experience
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Experience with large, complex biomedical datasets and high-performance computing
- Background in physics-based modeling, especially chemical and biophysical simulation
- Developing and implementing novel AI methods
- Ability to analyze complex biomedical problems
- Knowledge of applying quantum mechanics in physics-based modeling
