Your Role And Responsibilities

Join IBM Consulting’s AI & Analytics practice as an AI Architect. You will design, implement, and scale AI solutions across various industries, defining AI architectures and solution strategies that align with business objectives while leveraging advancements in generative AI, agentic AI systems, and cloud-native AI services.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• AI Project Leadership: 3+ years leading AI projects and architectural approaches.
• Application Development: 5+ years developing AI-enabled applications using backend frameworks.
• Rapid Prototyping: Ability to quickly develop prototypes and blueprints.
• AI Solution Design: Design scalable and efficient AI and generative AI solutions.
• Agentic AI Architecture: Design and implement autonomous, agentic AI systems and workflows.
• System Architecture: Architect end-to-end AI systems from data ingestion to deployment.
• Cloud AI Services: Create AI solutions using AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or IBM Cloud.
• Cloud Architecture: Develop cloud-native architectures ensuring scalability, security, and cost optimization.
• Microservices & API Design: Design modular microservices and develop interfaces for seamless integration.
• Data Architecture: Build data pipelines, vector databases, feature stores, and data lakes.
• Security Architecture: Implement encryption, access control, and regulatory compliance.
• Machine Learning & AI: Practical expertise with generative AI, transformers, embeddings, and NLP.
• Prompt Engineering: Develop and optimize prompts for LLM-based solutions.
• Programming & DevOps/MLOps: Proficiency with Python or Java, frameworks like Flask/Django, and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication able to explain technical concepts.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineers and data scientists.
• Project management experience managing timelines and stakeholder expectations.
• Relevant cloud and AI certifications from AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or IBM.
