Your Role And Responsibilities
As an Account Technical Leader for IBM's Technology Portfolio, you will lead IBM's technical strategy and associated tactical engagements with clients, acting as a trusted IT architecture advisor on the entire IBM Technology Portfolio. You will work closely with the client, Technology MD/Seller, and brand sales to define, document, and execute an IBM Client Technical Strategy (CTS) that is based on the client's business and technical challenges, strategies, and priorities. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Develop Client Technical Strategy: Define, document, and execute an IBM Client Technical Strategy (CTS) that addresses the client's business and technical challenges, strategies, and priorities, working closely with the client, Technology MD/Seller, and brand sales.
- Provide Trusted Advisory: Act as a trusted IT architecture advisor on the entire IBM Technology Portfolio, including IBM Software and IBM Infrastructure, to help clients make informed decisions about their technology investments.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with the client, Technology MD/Seller, and brand sales to ensure alignment and effective execution of the CTS.
- Deliver Solution Guidance: Provide guidance on IBM's Technology Portfolio, including software platforms and infrastructure products, to help clients achieve their business objectives.
- Execute Tactical Engagements: Lead tactical engagements with clients to implement the CTS and drive business outcomes.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Exposure to IT Architecture: Familiarity with designing and implementing comprehensive IT architectures that address business and technical challenges, including experience with software platforms and infrastructure products.
- Understanding of Technology Portfolios: Knowledge of a broad range of technology products and services, including data platforms, automation platforms, transaction processing platforms, hybrid cloud platforms, power systems, storage systems, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with Client Technical Strategies: Exposure to developing and executing client technical strategies that align with business objectives and priorities, working closely with clients and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with IBM Technology Portfolio: Understanding of IBM's Technology Portfolio, including IBM Software and IBM Infrastructure, and ability to provide guidance on these products to clients.
- Implementation Experience: Experience implementing technical solutions and leading tactical engagements with clients to drive business outcomes.
