Project Manager - IBM iX DACH

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, primarily from a project management perspective. The coolest part? The opportunity to work on larger projects for established clients in a fully international and agile environment, where you have the chance to make a significant impact with visible results and further develop your expertise.

Due to the specifics of our project landscape, we can only consider candidates with very good English and German language skills at C1 level.

We are looking for you to join our team full-time as soon as possible, ideally in Vienna or Wels, with the possibility of working partially from home (3 days per week).

Your Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans with clear scope definitions, set milestones, and prioritize various requirements considering schedules, resource allocation, and budget constraints.
• Conduct regular client discussions, advising client teams as a trusted advisor on various options, opportunities, costs, and risks.
• Manage release and deployment processes, ensuring compliance with company standards, contractual agreements, KPIs, and SLAs.
• Proactively identify, analyze, and evaluate project risks, develop appropriate risk mitigation and contingency plans, and communicate significant risks in a timely manner.
• Ensure regular, transparent project controlling and reporting (profitability, budget, time, scope, quality, risk) and identify areas for improvement in the software development lifecycle.
• Take care of scope definition, refinement of user stories, estimations, and change management, including processing change requests during the planning and implementation of digital projects.

Your Skills

• You have at least three years of relevant professional experience in project management of digital projects (ideally in a service/consulting environment) and are mid-career.
• You have successfully completed projects, including adherence to schedules, budgets, and desired quality, and have experience in risk management and change management.
• You have sound knowledge of web-based services and native app technologies, as well as an understanding of release and deployment processes.
• You possess strong communication and persuasion skills, think entrepreneurially, and are a team player with leadership qualities.
• You have experience in stakeholder management, client consulting, and moderating cross-functional teams.
• You are fluent in English and German (C1+).
