Responsibilities of an FP&A Manager
- Full ownership of the FP&A function within the organization as a standalone role
- Build, manage, and control the annual and quarterly budgets
- Prepare forecasts, scenario analyses, and variance analyses (actual vs. budget)
- Ongoing collaboration with the CFO, CEO, and department heads
- Integrate financial data with operational and investment data
- Work extensively with an advanced ERP system
- Improve processes, drive automation, and build FP&A methodologies from scratch
Qualifications for an FP&A Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics / Accounting / Business Administration – Mandatory
- CPA license / Master’s degree – Advantage
- At least 7 years of experience in FP&A / Economist / Financial Analyst roles – Mandatory
- Experience working with ERP systems – Significant advantage for Oracle – Mandatory
- Proven experience in building budgets, forecasts, and performing variance analysis
- Experience in a financial organization / investment house / insurance company – Significant advantage
