Data Science Team Overview
The Data Science function within iA Global Asset Management (iAGAM) is a key driver of strategic transformation across Investments, contributing directly to iAGAM’s 2030 vision and the Scalable Systems and Analytics strategic pillar.
- Digital Transformation: That team leads the analytics transformation by providing cloud-based tools to front office desks while modernizing the core data and analytics foundations.
- AI Enablement: Cross-functional initiative focused on enablement and acceleration of AI adoption, with an emphasis on investments use cases.
What You Will Accomplish With Us
As an Intern - Quantitative Data Engineer, you will be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
- Assist in validating, cleaning, and developing key datasets such as trade lifecycle data, market data, and financial models.
- Help develop and test data pipelines to ensure consistent and validated analytical output.
- Support the automation of data validation, quality checks, and reconciliation processes.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and analytical needs.
- Participate in the development of dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Power BI and Streamlit.
- Contribute to the evolution of the team’s technical stack using cloud-native tools such as Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage) and orchestration tools like Prefect.
- Contribute to documentation efforts and support data governance initiatives.
- Engage in team learning sessions and apply data engineering best practices under guidance.
