About the role
Software Engineer
An innovative organisation in the aerospace and engineering space is looking for a Software Engineer. This role is critical in provisioning and managing lab environments both on-premises and in the cloud, orchestrating automated integration testing across multiple program segments, and managing deployment mechanisms to physical and virtual systems.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, provision, and maintain scalable lab environments on-premises and on cloud platforms using Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Develop and manage automated integration testing workflows that aggregate inputs from multiple program segments to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Manage and optimize automated deployment pipelines for both physical and virtual systems to ensure repeatable software delivery.
- Collect and analyze comprehensive feedback on product stability and performance to enable continuous improvement across development teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, and security to align deployment strategies and environment configurations.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree and at least 3 years of experience in DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or related software engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience managing lab and test environments on-premises and in cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools including Terraform, Ansible, or ARM templates.
- Experience with Kubernetes container orchestration and CI/CD pipeline development using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell and familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
