Job Purpose / Summary
The Field Sales Representative (Northwest Ohio) proactively solicits industrial distribution-based sales within a designated geographic territory or a book of accounts assigned by management. The aim is to increase sales and profit for Isaacs Fluid Power Equipment Company and its authorized principals and suppliers.
Responsibilities include providing product and service information, resolving issues, and offering product support to achieve revenue generation and customer satisfaction while working with support teams and marketing programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Pursue and secure appointments with current and prospective customers.
- Present product benefits and competitive solutions effectively.
- Utilize internal resources to resolve customer problems.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and margin goals.
- Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external principals.
- Generate accurate product quotations and manage CRM entries.
Clerical and Administrative Duties
Respond promptly to communication, maintain accurate records, and perform routine clerical tasks.
Working Hours and Environment
This role typically requires 40+ hours per week with additional hours as needed. Work is performed within an office environment and on-site at customer locations.
Requirements
- High School diploma required; business degree preferred.
- Three+ years of sales experience in inside/outside sales.
- Technical or mechanical aptitude.
