Graphic Design Communications Advisor

Hydro-Québec is seeking a Graphic Design Communications Advisor (Temporary Assignment, Indefinite Duration) to join their dynamic team. Your Mission

The Graphic Design Communications Advisor II joins a multidisciplinary creation and production team and designs and implements creative and coherent graphic solutions to support the organization's communication and marketing objectives. They transform content into clear and effective visuals, deployed across different print and digital media, in compliance with graphic standards and the brand guide, while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Your Daily Activities

  • Contribute to evaluating communication service needs for client units.
  • Contribute to developing standards and frameworks and implementing the means required for mandate execution and brand image compliance.
  • Provide specialized advice and services in developing and implementing communication strategies and plans.
  • Guide and coordinate the design and production of communication products according to best practices.
  • Coordinate professional services and purchased services.
  • Ensure quality control and evaluate products and services delivered by suppliers.

Your Profile

Requirements
  • University degree (Bachelor's) in graphic design or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in graphic design, particularly in producing print or digital communication products, internally and externally.
Skills and Knowledge Related to the Position
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in both graphic and infographic design.
  • Demonstrated ability to coherently adapt visuals across different media (print, digital, presentations, social media), respecting graphic standards and brand guidelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to transform complex information into clear, structured, and visually effective visuals, considering typography and graphic standards, with ease in working from text content, data, or strategic information for relevant and effective visual formatting.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, apply, and adapt brand guide principles and design coherent creative concepts suited to communication objectives.
  • Good knowledge of main Adobe Creative Cloud software (Acrobat Pro, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and PowerPoint.
  • Good knowledge of the company's business directions, communication needs, and brand image management challenges (an asset).
  • Good knowledge of applying accessibility in graphic visuals, digital media, and documents (an asset).
