Job Summary

Operators will primarily operate a bulldozer in a rugged outdoor, unpaved environment. Your key responsibility will be to move bulk material throughout a manufacturing facility while consistently adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine operator adjustments and material requirements efficiently.
• Observe equipment operation to detect any machine malfunctions promptly.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including lubricating, fueling, and cleaning the equipment.
• Inspect equipment thoroughly and complete daily equipment reports.
• Utilize precise control to move levers, shift gears, depress pedals, and maneuver the steering wheel to operate equipment effectively.

Job Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years’ experience using heavy equipment, specifically bulldozers.
• High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment on varying surfaces (paved, dirt, multilevel).
• Capable of climbing up and down from cab heights with ease multiple times per hour.
• Must be able to work safely in a busy mulch yard, accurately judging distances and operating equipment with precision.
• Ability to work effectively in extreme outdoor climates, including cold, heat, rain, and fog.

Compensation & Benefits

This role offers a highly competitive compensation package including an hourly pay rate of $20/hour, with a bagging bonus potential of up to an extra $2/HR. CRH provides comprehensive benefits:
