Income Journal Analyst

Overview

At Hyatt Hotels Corporation, excellence is expected and exceeded. As an Income Journal Analyst, you will work with the Shared Services Center in Moore, supporting over 200 Hyatt Hotels in North America and Latin America. This role partners with hotel properties to oversee the income journal process, support accounting operations, and provide technical expertise in systems including Oracle Financials and Hyperion.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Income Journal team to manage PMS related activities.
• Support hotel accounting operations and system configurations.
• Act as a subject matter expert on income journal processes.
• Provide consultation to ensure compliance with shared services accounting standards.
• Assist in application re-engineering initiatives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2 years of Hotel Accounting experience or 1-2 years in Hotel Shared Service.
• Knowledge of Shared Services and BPO operations.
• Proficiency with Opera, Micros systems, MS Office, and familiarity with Hyperion and Oracle GL (preferred).
• A college degree in Hospitality Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Business (preferred).
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidential information and attention to detail.

Additional Requirements

Weekend availability is required. For remote work, high speed Internet service (DSL, Cable, or Fiber-Optic) must be maintained along with provider certification if requested.
