Game Economist at Huuuge Games
At Huuuge Games, we create top-grossing mobile games that unite people through engaging social mobile gaming. Join us to shape the strategic direction of economies for some of the world's largest social casino and casual titles. As a Game Economist, you will own complex economic systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and directly influence player experience and revenue across our games.
How will you make an impact with us?
- Architecting, optimizing, and balancing complex multi-layered economic systems across live and new games.
- Leading deep-dive analyses into player behavior, progression, monetization patterns, and the health of game economies.
- Creating and managing in-game economic systems, including item pricing, progression curves, and reward structures.
- Identifying opportunities to maximize player engagement, satisfaction, and LTV through data-driven recommendations.
- Partnering closely with Product, LiveOps, Design, Analytics, and Monetization teams to align strategy and execution.
- Mentoring junior specialists, reviewing their models, and raising the overall analytical and economic quality within the team.
- Owning pricing strategy for in-game goods and currencies, ensuring a healthy balance between free and paid progression.
This is the right job for you if you have:
- 2+ years of experience in game economy, data analytics, product analytics, or similar fields.
- Proven track record of designing, balancing, and optimizing in-game economies at scale.
- Critical thinking and the ability to anticipate risks, identify opportunities, and develop strategic solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with Product, Analytics, Monetization, and Operations teams.
- Experience leading discussions, aligning stakeholders, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Strong understanding of the gaming ecosystem, including competitors, industry trends, new releases, and changes.
- Expert-level Excel skills.
- Very good command of English.
