About the Warehouse Associate I Role
Hunter Engineering Company is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate I for our Hunter Service Center in Maryland Heights, Missouri. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional field support and possess a strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a 'can-do' attitude.
This position offers a starting rate of $19.25 with opportunities for advancement in level and pay. Hunter offers a set schedule of Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime required.
What You Will Do
- Receive and accurately pick shipping orders using a scanner.
- Verify completed order's accuracy and pack order in preparation for shipping.
- Weigh and label packages for shipment using UPS software.
- Prepare pallets for shipment and load them onto trucks.
- Timely receipt of incoming freight shipments.
- Unload goods off trucks with the use of pallet jacks and/or powered industrial equipment.
- Package, store, and stock incoming inventory in its appropriate place.
- Maintain appropriate and accurate inventory levels in the pick room and overstock locations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Additional Qualifications Include
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- No prior warehouse experience required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation (occasionally 60-75 lbs.); Ability to lift, bend and twist.
- Forklift experience and/or certification a plus.
