Hunter Douglas Australia, part of the world’s leading manufacturer of window coverings, is seeking a hands-on Production Coordinator to manage daily operations in the assembly of custom window coverings. This role offers the opportunity to drive production schedules, enhance efficiency, and support continuous improvement, while ensuring quality, safety, and on-time delivery.

What You'll Do

  • Plan and coordinate daily production schedules.
  • Lead and support the assembly team to meet targets.
  • Identify and resolve process inefficiencies.
  • Maintain SOPs and train staff as needed.
  • Monitor production data to drive improvements.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance with the Maintenance Team.
  • Ensure safety compliance and investigate incidents.
  • Support new product trials and implementation.

Who You Are

  • Tertiary qualifications in Production, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in using production planning and control systems.
  • Knowledge of WHS legislation and safe work practices.
  • Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
  • Experience with continuous improvement tools such as 5S and Kaizen.
