Hunter Bond is seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer – Trading to join an elite FinTech client. This pivotal role focuses on working with their low-latency Linux estate, blending Linux Systems Engineering with core Site Reliability Engineering principles.
As a Site Reliability Engineer – Trading, you will be instrumental in building, designing, and supporting automated solutions for scalable deployment across both private and public cloud infrastructures. This position involves a dynamic balance of project-based work and business-as-usual (BAU) tasks, with a strong emphasis on continuous automation to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
Core Skills Required
- Linux expertise (including shell scripting and system administration)
- Configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, or Ansible
- Containerization and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, Docker, or Podman
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Proficiency in Python programming for automation and scripting
Desirable Skills
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools including Terraform, Helm, Ansible, Pulumi, or Bicep
