Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer – Trading
My client, an elite FinTech firm, is seeking a knowledgeable Platform Engineer to work on their low latency Linux estate.
This role bridges Platform Engineering, DevOps, Linux Systems Administration, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), incorporating elements from all these disciplines.
Responsibilities:
- Build, design, and architect automated solutions for scalable deployment in private and public cloud infrastructure.
- Work in both project and Business As Usual (BAU) capacities, automating processes wherever possible.
Core Skills Required:
- Linux
- Configuration Management: Chef, Puppet, or Ansible
- Containerization & Orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker, or Podman
- CI/CD pipelines
- Programming: Python
Desirable Skills:
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Helm, Ansible, Pulumi, Bicep
- Cloud Platforms: AWS or GCP
