Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer – Trading
My client, an elite FinTech company, is seeking a knowledgeable Platform Engineer to work on their low latency Linux estate. This role bridges Platform Engineering, DevOps, Linux Systems Administration, and SRE, incorporating elements from all these disciplines.
Responsibilities:
- Build, design, and architect automated solutions for scalable deployment in private and public cloud infrastructure.
- Work in both project and Business As Usual (BAU) capacities, focusing on automation wherever possible.
Core Skills Required:
- Linux
- Configuration Management: Chef, Puppet, or Ansible
- Containerization: Kubernetes, Docker, or Podman
- CI/CD principles and tools
- Programming: Python
