Network Engineer at Hunter Bond
Our client, Elite FinTech, is seeking a Senior Network Engineer experienced in dynamic, low latency environments. In this role you will architect and implement high availability network infrastructures across LAN, WAN, data center, and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement resilient network infrastructures
- Translate technical requirements into scalable network designs
- Lead end-to-end project delivery and vendor coordination
- Evaluate emerging technologies for performance and security enhancements
- Provide L3 escalation support for critical network incidents
- Drive automation and monitoring initiatives
- Produce high-quality documentation and network diagrams
Required Experience & Skills
- Enterprise network engineering in latency-sensitive environments
- Expertise in routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, EVPN, STP, MLAG/vPC, VLAN/VxLAN)
- Proficiency in multicast technologies (PIM, IGMP, MSDP, SSM)
- Experience with Cisco and Arista platforms
- Experience in data center and office network buildouts
- Strong network security fundamentals (AAA, control planes, device hardening)
- Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Scripting and network automation using Python and Ansible
- Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Elastic Stack, Grafana)
- CCIE preferred
