This role, located in New York with hybrid/remote flexibility, offers a highly competitive salary up to $222,000, plus an exceptional bonus and benefits package.

In this position, you will be instrumental in building and operating mission-critical platform infrastructure, leveraging modern DevOps practices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, scale, and automate platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and self-service workflows. The primary objective is to significantly improve developer productivity and enhance the overall engineering experience within a high-performance computing environment.

Key Responsibilities and Required Attributes:

• Observability: Implement and manage robust monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting systems.
• Scheduling & Orchestration: Design and maintain HPC and container orchestration solutions for demanding high-compute workloads.
• Developer Tools: Oversee and optimize CI/CD pipelines, version control, artifact management, and core development platforms.
• Middleware: Manage essential middleware components, including messaging queues, service discovery, and load balancing.
• Databases: Work with a variety of database systems, including relational, NoSQL, and specialized time-series databases.
• Automation: Drive initiatives for infrastructure automation, configuration management, and the development of self-service capabilities.
