About the Role: DevOps Engineer Kubernetes SME

My client, an award-winning, tech-focused Elite FinTech Firm run by passionate Computer Scientists, is seeking a highly-talented DevOps Engineer with Kubernetes expertise. They boast an unlimited budget for optimizing their infrastructure, offering an exceptional environment for a passionate Linux infrastructure enthusiast.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Architecting brand new on-premise Kubernetes infrastructure.
  • Building and optimizing next-gen Linux infrastructure on a High-Performance Computing (HPC) Cluster with over 1PB memory, 20K GPUs, and 100K CPUs.
  • Working within a high-performance DevOps function, focusing on building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automating everything with Python and various configuration management tools.

This role offers the chance to work with the newest and best technology, making a significant mark on a growing organization.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong Systems Engineering experience in high-availability and/or low-latency environments.
  • Extensive Kubernetes experience is essential.
  • Highly preferred: strong experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Interest in DevOps principles and practices.
