About the Role: DevOps Engineer Kubernetes SME
Our client, an Elite FinTech Firm led by passionate Computer Scientists, is seeking a highly-talented DevOps Engineer Kubernetes SME to join one of their systems teams. With an unlimited budget for infrastructure optimization, this is an unparalleled opportunity for a passionate Linux infrastructure enthusiast to work on cutting-edge technology and make a significant impact within a growing organization.
You will contribute across various areas, primarily focusing on:
- Architecting brand new on-premise Kubernetes infrastructure from the ground up.
- Building and optimizing next-generation Linux infrastructure on a High-Performance Computing (HPC) Cluster, boasting over 1PB memory, 20K GPUs, and 100K CPUs.
- Working within their high-performance DevOps function to build and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Automating processes and infrastructure using Python and various configuration management tools.
This role offers the chance to engage in constantly exciting greenfield projects within an ever-evolving environment, free from red tape, and provides flexible hours/work options in beautiful offices where technologists are highly valued.
Skills and Experience Required
- Extensive Systems Engineering experience, particularly in high-availability and/or low-latency environments.
- Strong expertise with scripting and automation tools is highly preferred, including Python, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Extensive Kubernetes experience is essential.
- A genuine interest in DevOps methodologies and continuous learning.
