Desktop Support Engineer at Hunter Bond
As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role within an elite Quant Fund, supporting a global, collaborative environment driven by passionate Computer Scientists. This position is located in New York City with a hybrid work arrangement, requiring 3-4 days onsite.
Your responsibilities will involve setting up, maintaining, and enhancing critical IT infrastructure including workstations, mobile devices, servers, and conference room systems. You will be instrumental in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and swiftly resolving technical issues that could impact mission-critical trading and enterprise operations. This role offers unique exposure to some of the brightest minds and biggest names in the industry, fostering interactions across all business functions.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
- 2+ years of commercial experience in System Engineering or Systems Administration.
- Strong proficiency in Windows 10 support and configuration.
- Demonstrated experience with automation tools and practices.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with Python scripting.
