Role Overview

As a Fractional Chief Compliance Officer, you will guide organizations in navigating complex regulatory environments. Your expertise will help clients build ethical infrastructures, mitigate risk, and embed compliance into their day-to-day practices across multiple industries including financial services, SaaS, and healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and oversee compliance programs (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, AML, CCPA, PCI, etc.).
  • Advise executive teams and boards on regulatory risk and internal controls.
  • Establish ethics frameworks, codes of conduct, training protocols, and whistleblower systems.
  • Manage audits, regulatory inquiries, and certifications with teams and external agencies.
  • Develop reporting structures and dashboards to monitor compliance KPIs.
  • Collaborate with legal, HR, operations, and finance teams.
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Support investor due diligence, risk disclosures, and governance communications.

Required Qualities

  • Proven experience in compliance, risk management, regulatory affairs, or legal leadership.
  • Track record as a CCO or senior compliance officer in regulated industries.
  • Deep knowledge of international and domestic compliance frameworks.
  • Strategic mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in fractional, interim, or advisory capacities.
  • Certifications such as CRCM, CCEP, CAMS, or similar are strongly preferred.
