Job Details
Data Scientist I at Humata Health, Inc.
Location: 700 W. Morse Blvd STE 101, Winter Park, FL 32789
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Duties
- Develop predictive models using MLOps practices.
- Automate prior authorization processes using large data sets.
- Train and deploy statistical and NLP models for medical records.
- Push models to staging and production after rigorous testing.
- Monitor and update production models based on performance data.
- Maintain and improve data pipelines from raw data to feature stores.
- Ensure data security and compliance with protection policies.
- Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders.
- Review and recommend improvements in operations and processes.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum two years of practical software engineering experience.
- Proficient in Python for machine learning and data science tasks.
- Experience with developing, deploying and fine tuning NLP and large language models.
- Background in building NLP models for classifying medical records.
- Experience in healthcare production environments.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid position with up to 4 remote days per week, reporting to the Winter Park, FL office.
