About the Role
Humana is seeking a Senior Compliance Professional to join our caring community. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with governmental requirements and involves tackling moderately complex to complex issues that require in-depth analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
- Research compliance issues and recommend changes to ensure contract obligation compliance.
- Maintain relationships with government agencies.
- Coordinate site visits for regulators and manage implementation of corrective action plans.
- Contribute to departmental strategy and make independent decisions on technical approaches.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3+ years of experience applying regulations to operational processes.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations governed by the Department of Insurance and CMS.
- Experience with corrective action plans and regulatory reporting.
- Audit or consulting experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate or advanced degree (MBA, JD, etc.).
Work Environment
- This is a remote position with occasional travel required for training or meetings.
- Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Compensation and Benefits
Pay Range: $86,300 - $118,700 per year. Eligible for bonus incentive plan.
