Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first. Humana is seeking a Regional Support Pharmacist to join our team. This role involves compounding and dispensing medications, providing immunizations, preparing and maintaining records, and offering clinical recommendations to clinic staff. You will also oversee the retail pharmacy team within CenterWell Senior Primary Care clinics, interacting directly with patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispensing prescriptions and providing immunizations.
• Preparing and maintaining all necessary records (prescriptions, patient charges, inventory).
• Providing clinical recommendations to clinic staff.
• Overseeing the retail pharmacy team.
• Floating between Kansas City Market pharmacies (Missouri and Kansas) as needed.

Role Specifics:

This is a Regional Support Pharmacist position intended to cover Paid Time Off (PTO) and provide extra coverage as needed. The anticipated need is for one 8-hour day per week on average. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM CST, with a lunch break from 12:30 PM - 1:00 PM CST.

Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacist license with the Board of Pharmacy in Kansas AND/OR Missouri.
• Certified immunizer in the state of Kansas AND/OR Missouri.
• Provide documentation of BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong technology skills.
• Must be willing to undergo TB screening as part of Humana/Senior Bridge's program.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Retail Pharmacy experience preferred.
• Dual License (Kansas and Missouri) preferred.
