Lead IT Command Center

About the Role

The Lead IT Command Center at Humana is responsible for managing IT and business-driven initiatives including the operational go-live for key events such as Medicare Annual Enrollment Period, New Plan Year, and CMS STARS season. The role requires managing a prioritized RAID log to ensure all critical issues are resolved as quickly as possible, and organizing IT responses through logical cadence.

Responsibilities

• Manage the IT Command Center during high-impact cycles.
• Oversee end-of-day reports and escalate executive issues.
• Coordinate with IT teams and external vendors.
• Facilitate communication between business and IT.

Required Qualifications

• Proven ability to partner across IT and business segments.
• Skilled in advancing projects with ambiguity and limited direction.
• Strong presentation and leadership skills to engage senior executives.
• Experience in leading special projects and generating metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, MBA, or other advanced degree.
• 2+ years of project leadership experience and 4+ years in Healthcare.
• ITIL certification and a solid understanding of operations and technology.

Additional Information

This role is remote with occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings. It includes a high-speed internet requirement and a dedicated space to manage PHI/HIPAA sensitive information.
