About the Role
Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first. Humana is seeking an experienced IT Compliance Professional for its Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team. In this role, you will enhance GRC processes, identify improvements, and promote best practices across the organization. Your efforts will be key in shaping Humana’s risk culture, strengthening security governance, and ensuring accountability for security practices at a Fortune 40 company.
Key Accountabilities
- Conduct comprehensive IT audits and assessments on new and existing systems.
- Develop and analyze metrics such as KPIs, KRIs, and trend reports.
- Recommend process improvements and remediation for detected control gaps.
- Collaborate with IT partners to ensure compliance during system implementations.
- Ensure adherence to federal/state laws, HIPAA, DoD, VA, TRICARE regulations.
- Manage external audit activities and support AI governance efforts based on NIST frameworks.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a government security clearance (NBIS).
- 4+ years of technical and GRC audit management experience.
- Experience developing OKRs, KPIs, and KRIs.
- Foundational knowledge in HIPAA, FedRAMP, cloud platforms, and NIST AI framework.
- Strong communication, collaboration and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications & Benefits
Preferred candidates may possess a Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field and certifications such as CRISC, CISM, CISSP, or CGRC. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and additional support for remote work.
Interview Process & Work Arrangement
The interview process utilizes HireVue for video assessments. Although the position is remote, occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings is required. Home employees must meet internet and work space criteria.
