About the Role
The Research team at HUMAN takes on the challenge of identifying and stopping malicious activity across vast streams of traffic. As a Senior Web Security Researcher, you will join a team of highly skilled security researchers, data scientists, and software engineers to hunt threats, develop detection techniques, and share cybercrime intelligence.
What You'll Do
- Experiment with web browsers to identify behavioral differences.
- Research and develop signal collection techniques for mobile and desktop.
- Detect automation using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Puppeteer.
- Collaborate on customer requirements and exceed expectations.
- Identify adversary tactics and develop countermeasures.
- Create data insights and improve detection mechanisms.
- Share your findings via blogs, talks, and conferences.
- Red team exercises and development of new tactics before attacks occur.
- Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and events.
- Develop tools and scripts to streamline team operations.
Who You Are
- B.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Expert in web architecture and protocols (DOM, JavaScript, HTTP/HTTPS, IPv4/v6).
- Over 3 years of proven cyber security research experience.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript.
- Experience in data analysis with SQL and Python.
- Motivated, independent, and passionate about cybersecurity.
- Strong leadership through contribution and teamwork.
Nice To Have
- Experience analyzing large complex datasets.
- Background in bot threats and creating automated web tools.
- Reversing capabilities and technical blog/conference speaking experience.
