Position Summary

The Child Welfare Expert role requires a highly skilled professional with over 10 years of field experience in child welfare practices and operations. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and works independently in a fast-paced environment while managing high capacity and attention to detail. This consulting role supports multiple child welfare projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide subject-matter expertise on child welfare systems including intake, investigations, case management, foster/kinship care, family preservation, and adoption.
  • Analyze policies, procedures, and data to identify service delivery improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to research, evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare clear, comprehensive reports, briefs, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Maintain strict focus on deadlines and deliverables.
