About The Senior Product Marketing Manager, GTM Readiness Role
The Senior Product Marketing Manager, GTM Readiness acts as a strategic orchestrator, building critical cross-functional partnerships. This role ensures product roadmaps align seamlessly with organizational readiness, giving every launch the necessary visibility and lead time for maximum market impact. The ideal candidate is proactive, meticulously plans, and consistently communicates to ensure stakeholders have timely information. This individual proactively embeds with product teams, ensuring marketing is always in the loop, and is adept at crafting highly detailed project plans.
Beyond coordination, this role requires a blend of diplomacy and assertive action to drive results. You understand that a feature isn't truly complete until sales can pitch it and support can troubleshoot it. By integrating early into the development lifecycle, you will transform Human Interest's launch culture from reactive to intentional. The successful candidate possesses the resilience to navigate shifting deadlines and the emotional intelligence to influence roadmaps even without formal authority. Ultimately, your efforts will ensure that the company's innovation is matched by its preparation, turning every product update into a predictable, scalable win.
About The Team
This individual contributor role reports to the Director of Corporate Marketing, with a strategic dotted line to the Product Marketing Director. It's designed for a high-velocity operator who will serve as the connective tissue between technical squads and outward-facing Go-To-Market engines. You will lead cross-functional efforts, embedding with teams across Customer Operations, PR, Content, and Partner Marketing. This position is mission control for the product's reputation, demanding agility to pivot with data, grit to hold teams accountable, and exceptional communication to keep leadership informed. Human Interest fosters radical frankness and direct feedback to achieve ambitious goals, thriving amidst constant change while consistently delivering high-quality outcomes.
What You Get To Do Every Day
- Own the GTM Operating System: Architect and lead the end-to-end go-to-market process, transforming raw product features into coordinated, high-impact market launches.
- Embed with Product Squads: Serve as the primary marketing liaison within product development cycles to gain early roadmap visibility and eliminate "last-minute" launch surprises.
- Negotiate Roadmap Readiness: Use your influence to align product ship dates with organizational readiness, ensuring Enablement and Training teams have sufficient lead time to certify stakeholders.
- Orchestrate Cross-Functional Tiger Teams: Lead regular syncs between Product, Content, and Enablement to ensure messaging is locked, assets are built, and the field is prepared long before "Go-Live."
- Draft the Launch Blueprint: Develop comprehensive project plans and readiness checklists that track every dependency, from technical beta testing to internal sales certification.
- Translate Product Value: Partner with Content teams to turn technical specifications into compelling, customer-centric narratives that drive adoption and competitive differentiation.
- Audit Stakeholder Readiness: Act as the final "gatekeeper" for launches, verifying that Sales, Support, and Customer Success teams have the knowledge and tools required to support new releases.
- Measure Launch Velocity: Track and report on the effectiveness of launch initiatives, using data to refine our GTM playbook and improve time-to-market efficiency.
What you bring to the role
- 7-10 years of product marketing or product management experience.
- Experience with Google suite of products.
- Mastery of complex project management tools and methodologies, managing multiple launch tiers and shifting dependencies simultaneously.
- Ability to understand deep technical product features.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, managing deadlines and prioritizing tasks with a high degree of ownership and self-sufficiency.
Nice to have
- GTM Framework Proficiency: Expert-level mastery of product marketing frameworks (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, SiriusDecisions, or similar) to categorize launch tiers and define commercial readiness.
- Experience in a regulated industry like finance or fintech, demonstrating foundational knowledge of compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with 401(k) and/or financial services products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience at a fast-paced, high-growth startup/SaaS company.
