Job Description
Field Marketing Coordinator
Human Interest is on a mission to ensure that people in all lines of work have access to retirement benefits. More than half of all working Americans are not saving enough for their future, often because their employer doesn’t offer a retirement plan. Human Interest is changing that by making it affordable and accessible for small and medium-sized businesses to offer employees a path to financial independence through retirement savings. We’re a high-growth fintech company changing the retirement industry, backed by investors including Marshall Wace, Baillie Gifford, BlackRock, TPG (The Rise Fund), SoftBank, Glynn Capital, NewView Capital, USVP, Wing, and Uncork.
About The Role
As a Field Marketing Coordinator at Human Interest, you will be instrumental in supporting our mission to provide financial independence through retirement plans. This early-career, support-heavy role is ideal for someone meticulously organized, who thrives on ensuring every detail is perfect. You'll gain a front-row seat to a fast-scaling marketing machine, working alongside experienced Marketing Managers to understand how a world-class revenue team drives growth. You'll manage administrative workflows that enable us to reach more small businesses across the U.S., acting as a navigator to keep our initiatives on track.
You’re a fit if you:
- Want to learn from seasoned marketing leaders and see the "behind the scenes" of a tech unicorn.
- Are a "high-velocity" learner, quickly picking up new tools and processes.
- Are meticulously organized, finding satisfaction in keeping complex projects error-free.
- Have a "no task too small" attitude and enjoy a job well done.
- Default to action, comfortable tackling administrative heavy lifting for big campaigns.
- Are comfortable with constant change and can adapt your focus on the fly.
About The Team
The events marketing team is responsible for planning and executing approximately 150 events per year, and growing. This includes partner events, industry events, and some internal events.
What You Get To Do Every Day
Logistics & Asset Management
- Mission Control for Field Assets: Serve as the primary point of contact for our warehouse facilities (E3), owning the end-to-end tracking, shipping, and timely return of all booth properties and event assets.
- Swag & Collateral Command: Manage inventory levels and fulfillment for all company swag and field requests (e.g., business cards), proactively tracking stock and handling replenishment.
Operational & Financial Support
- Reporting & Financial Hygiene: Act as the backbone for end-of-month reporting, leading the charge in collecting receipts, reconciling team expenses, and organizing data for accurate and transparent marketing spend.
- Contract & Invoice Orchestration: Facilitate the end-to-end contract and invoice process for the Field and Event Marketing teams, identifying and resolving bottlenecks in legal or procurement.
Field & Team Enablement
- PAM (Partner Account Manager) Support: Serve as the dedicated support lead for our PAMs to bring their local events to life, including sourcing and booking venues, coordinating food and beverage, and managing custom logistics.
- Startup Agility: Tackle various administrative projects and "special missions" as they arise, providing flexible support to help the organization scale.
What you bring to the role
- 2–3 Years of Relevant Experience: Proven experience in marketing, project coordination, or event logistics in a high-growth tech environment.
- Logistics Mastery: Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent projects or event efforts with exceptional attention to detail.
- High-Growth Mindset: Thrives in fast-paced, constantly changing environments with a bias toward action.
- Operational Excellence: Extreme attention to detail and highly organized, ensuring smooth execution of all tasks.
- Professional Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for interactions with vendors, partners, and internal leadership.
- Collaborative & Independent: A reliable team player capable of running projects independently from start to finish.
- Tech Proficiency: High comfort level with modern workplace tools (G-Suite, Slack, Salesforce). Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar project management platforms is a strong plus.
